The Basic System is a complete stand alone system to borrow private money from family, friends and associates. This is the way I got started. My 1st lender was my Mom. This system gives you all the tools you need to get the job done. This system is designed for real estate investors to borrow from folks you know, that live in your state and for you to use the money on properties in your state. The Basic System does include what to say to potential lenders and a great letter you can send to your family friends and associates to help you attract funds for your deals. Both The Basic System & The Advanced System include my powerful audio business card and my credibility kit CD-ROM. I felt these tools were so important; I included them with both systems. Just so you know each state controls the number of lenders you can have and the amount of money you can borrow. If you think you will go above your states maximum number of lenders (most states are 15 or more) or go above amount of money you can borrow within a year (most states it’s $1,000,000) then you need a more advanced system. My office can look these numbers up for you. The Basic System does not include the 37 PowerPoint presentation slides. Those only come in The Advanced System. It is not necessary to take The Basic System prior to The Advanced System. They are both stand alone systems. When you borrow money from private individuals you also must understand the regulations that come into play. The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) is the controlling enforcement organization that regulates what you can and can’t do when you borrow money from private individuals. They are in place to protect the consumer, i.e. your lender. Each states, SEC office limits how many lenders you can have in your state, how much money you can borrow, and when you can advertise. And if you cross state lines with your lenders and property then the federal SEC gets involved. As you become bigger and more aggressive in finding private lenders, more regulations come into play. To help you, The Advanced System includes a chapter that covers an overview of what the SEC requires. It is not necessary to take The Basic System prior to The Advanced System. This system is a stand alone home study system and a must have if you have The Advanced System and want to advertise. It is not needed with The Basic System unless you see that you are going to go above your states threshold on private lenders or dollars.
